Destinee, for her part, got in the car and looked at herself in the mirror with the most self-assurance an 18-year old could ever have. She could not have felt more confident about her choice. There was no one she had met in the previous few years when she thought about sex semi-regularly that made her want to give it up. She wanted it to be with someone special—she just never knew it would be this special or even with a woman. She had just assumed she’d get with a guy but always be with men.

Roxanne got to the house first. She went to the kitchen and got out a bottle of wine. She then sat at the kitchen table nervously, waiting for her to arrive. She reminded herself not to doubt her decision, but she also knew from experience she wouldn’t have to worry about such self-doubt as soon as the action got heavy.

Destinee pulled into her driveway about five minutes later and parked the car. It was still relatively light outside, and one neighbor was outside cleaning her lawn. She waited until she had gone outside, and then made a beeline for the house. She knocked on the door, and she heard Roxanne’s footsteps approaching.

She opened the door, and then Destinee squeezed inside. Roxanne closed the door and turned around.
